Senior Vice President – Corporate & Business Development, Fairwood Holdings Pvt Ltd April 2010 – Sep 2012 In 2012, Fairwood Consulting diversified to mobility, energy and urbanization and was renamed as Fairwood Holdings Pvt Ltd. My rich and diversified experience with the organization was leveraged to lead the restructuring efforts which included expansion and demergers. I led the growth wave for the organization by identifying business opportunities in Personal Rapid Transport, Plasma gasification, affordable housing, façade and solar energy and institutionalizing organizations to capture these markets. I was instrumental in setup of Joint Venture Ultra PRT with Ultra (a BAA Company) and closing of LOI with MCG Amritsar for a BOT Project. I was also instrumental in setup and operationalizing Fairwood Smart Green in renewable and energy efficiency with European partner Robotina. As Director (FRA Sports Pvt Ltd.), I played a pivotal role in setting up a golf and sports club in association with Rishi Narain golfer. Acquired business contract from 3C (Club Loiter – 100000 sq.ft.) for club operation and management for 3500 members. Attained net margins of 65% on the management contract in the first year of operations. Though successful, the company was sold to realign its efforts to the corporate strategy.

Significantly contributed in increasing profitability by expanding to new verticals (through JV) and bringing in prestigious clients. Instrumental in Project development and structuring advisory for infrastructure and real estate projects and advised various developers for BOT / PPP projects along with search of technical and financial investors & partners.Highlights:o Spearheaded growth (year 1, TO 200%) of Fairwood by deftly handling new feasibility assignments from prestigious clients like IL&FS. o Essayed a stellar role in making architecture department an integral part of the company with a major architectural assignment of Blue Ridge - IT Park & Township, Pune, fees worth INR 320 Million in JV with ECADI. I joined JMC Projects as an Assistant Manager spearheading the setting up and establishing Regional Office, business expansion efforts in North India. My power packed career of over four years was marked not only by geographical expanding, but also vertical expansion into construction of infrastructure & institutional, commercial and residential buildings. Working with prestigious clients on high value projects honed my skills in leading teams and project management. I build strong inroads to capture niche areas of LSTK projects. Skills ranging from Business Development, RFP, RFQ, tendering and contracts.Key projects handled: SABIC, Rites corporate office, Power Grid corporate office, DMRC metro stations and small projects, Hospital project in Tanda by HSCC, Power welfare housing project. Started as a Trainee Engineer in a technologically advanced Nuclear Power plant. Gained a sound exposure to latest construction technology in plant, machinery and products. Developed valuable management and leadership skills that enabled me to consistently achieve productivity targets. Highlights of this tenure:  As Project Engineer, pioneered the development of M-60 grade concrete (high strength concrete). Core team member of quality team to understand the failure of dome structure of works done by a competitor at Kaiga.  As Engineer Civil, received Performance Appreciation Award from Project Controller in April 1997.  Part of winning team for claims worth INR 70 Million in year 1998-99 As a Trainee Engineer, awarded a special award for best performer (rating A++) from Project Manager along with a special increment in April 1996 as Trainee Engineer.As Project Engineer (Civil), from Dec 97 – July 99, ensured smooth execution of civil engineering projects. Deftly managed Timber yard, Fabrication and Steel yard to ensure timely availability of high quality products like dome structures, ring beams, IC & OC walls and BOS. Led the quality assurance and control function ensuring adherence to highest quality standardsAs Engineer (Civil) – Planning & Contracts, Dec 96 – Dec 97, significantly contributed in project planning, execution and control.
