Role and Responsibilities:Handling MSC / MGW / HLR / USPP• Leading Switch O&M team.• Responsible for analysis of KPIs of switch and planning to improve switch KPIs• Responsible for the entire configuration, Operation and Maintenance of switch.• Responsible for any new configuration related to new service like IN, MCA, USSD etc or new connectivity with other node like HLRe. USPP, STP, SMSC, IN, etc.• Responsible for Switch up-gradation & expansion. (MSC / MGW / USPP / HLRe).• Responsible for planning of augmentation of E1 or Links as per traffic.• Responsible for Planning of UASL, NLD, ILD traffic routing as per available routes and utilization. • Responsible for table creation, routing, complete POI connectivity (TDM).• Responsible for resolving the daily services related issues and trouble shoot all the switch related problems either hardware or configuration problems.• Responsible for Troubleshooting of various cards in the MSC/MGW/HLR/USPP Racks.• Responsible for implementation and Testing of International roaming in coordination with Syniverse.• Preparing MOPs for all new connectivity & Implementation and circulate to PAN India MSce.

Core Network Engineer • Part of Core Network team, ZTE Telecom, from 2ndApril’07 to 13thOctober’10. Projects Handled: NSS Integration & Commissioning of ZXC10 (ZTE MSC & MGW) as per the planning. Software up gradation & expansion of MSC/VLR & HLR,MNP(Mobile Number Portability) Installation and Commissioning of ZTE soft switch equipment Testing Of MNP ( Port IN and Port Out Numbers) Configuration of CCS-7 signaling between different Switches & Working knowledge of Common Channel Signaling-7 (CCS-7), message flow & tracing of the signaling messages (MTP, SCCP, MAP, and ISUP). Billing system architecture & configuration, processing of CDR (Call data records). Up-gradation Of HLR & VLR Testing of LIS. Configuring VLR, Data base servers & Client terminals. Inter Connectivity with other NEs & Acceptance Testing of ZTE Core Nodes--MSC, MGW. MNP (Mobile Number Portability) Configuration & Implementation Activities for  Expansion of Nodes (MSC, MGW) as per the planning. Software version up gradation of ZXC-10 MSC, MGW. Checking and finding out the problems in call completion, troubleshooting various problems in location update, authentication problem, GT analysis and creating the Root cause analysis for providing it to customer and ZTE technical support team. Core Networks Weekly Reports analysis & to achieve the improved targets for KPI of the Core network. Operation and Maintenance of the Network & Roles involved as taking care of ZTE Core network equipments. Augmentation/Implementation and Database creation/modification in MSC : Configuration of Trunk Groups, Signaling Links, POI Connectivity-Local, NLD, ILD with other operators. Augmentation of E1s to POI, Configuration of cells, inter-MSC handover and New BSC. Opening of new codes, routing of same and make open new codes at other PLMN.
