Responsible for complete seat engineering design and development for a project from RFQ to Launch

• Responsible for Complete Seat Design & Validation of a seating system from the proposals stage to final production. • Providing Innovative proposals as per customer needs- Styling, Feature, weight and cost requirement.• Suitable benchmarking support to customers to finalized design.• Estimation of engineering budget for a program – PD2• Establishes Designs direction along with Techno commercial feasibility to design team • Providing various cost-effective and delight features in proposals to customers- VA/VE• Preparation of concept / Prototype sample as per customer specification.• Coordination with business development team for on time to win the business• Design of complete seating system in very close coordination with customer for NPD• Responsible for approval of design from customer- DVP& TDM sign off.• Review of Design of complete seating system on CAD/FEA software for various aspects.• Review of prototypes for comfort, ergonomics and ease of manufacturing.• Supplier review for manufacturing feasibility - DFAM• Review of Documentation like Bill of Material, DFMEA, Design validation Plan, SCCC list, Product definition matrix for each program.• Design Review with SMTEs, SSO (safety) & CSO (Craftsmanship)• Co-ordination with production plant & Quality team, Technical issue resolution by A3 process. • Coordination with ARAI for homologation- As per AIS/ECE/ NCAP/FMVSS• Production line support during launch of product.• Issue fixing in current production at production line and at customer end.• Resource management of engineering team • Develops a strong team of employees in Engineering Function through continuous training, motivating & mentoring employees for higher productivity and performance.

• Execution of design project outsourced by Belgium head office of Atlas Copco.• Organize project schedule as per delivery date.• Collection of inputs as per project requirement• 3D model and 2D drawings for compressor parts.

• Design and Development for various types of components used in Two-Wheelers. Right from Concept Design to Final Product. (For Ex.-Chassis, Sheet Metal Parts, Clutch, Break Parts, Springs, Plastic Parts, Rubber Parts, Steel & PDC Parts)• Design a component keeping various points in mind like Engineering requirement, Manufacturability, assembly, serviceability and cost.• 3D model for Outer Body Panels (Plastic or Sheet Metal), Chassis & Engine Parts, and verification of Complete Vehicle Assembly on 3D. (On I-DEAS or CATIA 3D Modeling Software). Finalization of Parting Line, Draft Angle, Ejector Pin position for plastic components.• Monitoring &Workload planning for subordinates, Checking 2D drawings & 3D models.• Checking fitment & trial of various components like suspension, brake component, clutch, sheet metal and plastic components on prototype.• Development of Plastic components through Reverse engineering from concept to part.• Releasing Drawings for production & Protoshop, Bill of material & Item Master updation.• Approval of Vendor’s Drawing, Vendor visits for technical clearance.• System Administration & Monitoring for CAD room
