I was a part of Nissan India startup team for India launch. My role was to ensure that dealer network is fully enabled to reach out to customers for selling newly launched 'Micra'. It was a challenging operational assignment ensuring that Nissan is positioned rightly in Indian market.

I had an amazing role at Mercedes. At the time when i joined Mercedes, BMW and Audi has just entered the Indian market, and were willing to buy market share by identifying key customers. Mercedes of that time never had CRM progam of their own and never had direct contact with any of their key customers. I was to meet those key customers and establish company level business relationship. And guess what sell Mercs in dozens, or let's say cajole them to twist their company perquisite car policy to allow their employees to afford new Mercs, or to sell a really expensive one to whomsoever can afford them. Though it took Mercedes some time, but glad to see that it finally has a formal outreach program for its key clients.

I was responsible for managing 5-6 passenger car dealerships of TML in Rest of Maharashtra region. It was a great assignment with lot of empowerment and responsibility for increasing market share for Indica, Indigo and Marina brands.

As a management trainee, my first posting at Rajasthan was a crash course in rural sales. I was posted there for a year before i was reassigned to Delhi, and then to Bangalore. Overall i had a great learning experience.
