May 2012 to till date with adidas AG - Brand Protection Manager India and South East Asiacurrently the Brand Protection Manager (India & region) for Adidas as global resources, reporting to General counsel IPR in Hon Kong. Responsible for carrying out all necessary arrangements to enforce adidas Intellectual Property rights in India and region, in line with the global brand protection strategy, aiming to minimize the effect that infringement and counterfeits have on the brand image and the sales, maintain the global anti-counterfeiting strategy in India, set by adidas Global Team. Gather intelligence from the customer care, adidas-India sales force, private investigators, enforcement authorities, informants, retailers and others about adidas Intellectual Property rights’ infringements and work with IPR Global Head to develop sustainable enforcement program for region. Participate in activities for the promotion of brand awareness of intellectual property matters with Indian Sri Lankan Customs, state Police officers, various schools and universities and also within adidas employees including training and presentations to the local adidas businesses in India with a view to gaining their help and support. Maintaining relationships with enforcement authorities: police and customs, provide regular training to the enforcement authorities on the identification of counterfeit adidas’s goods. Support customs in identifying counterfeits and have seized counterfeits destroyed and remedies pursued against importers. Support adidas on security label program in India and conducting audits of factories in India to ensure compliance with security label program. Keeps tracking and updating of IP database of enforcement cases. Obtain many Injunctions against infringement and passing-off from various High courts in India. Successfully enforced take down with various online market portals and social media.

• Heading legal and compliances department for Group Companies and Divisions (i.e. Distant Frontiers Tours Pvt Ltd, Sita World Travel Nepal, Sita world travel Srilanka, Kuoni Destination Management and various liaison office in France, USA, Australia etc ). Functional Reporting to CFO (Mumbai) and administrative reporting to Sr. V.P Finance and legal reporting to Group General Legal Counsel, Zurich. preparing annual legal budget, keeping legal expenses track. Provide assistance during Internal & External Audits. Reporting of two subordinate law officer posted in company branches.• Did drafting, vetting and negotiating of various agreements executed by the Company with overseas Clients, airlines, hotels, luxury trains, cooperation agreement with foreign tour operator, suppliers, Vendors etc. and Lease agreements, leave and license agreements.• Providing legal opinion on issues dealt by the Company and handled litigation, arbitration, IPR matters like filing of new Logo, Objection and related proceedings. Handled more than 100 logo’s of Kuoni Group• Did Due diligence, Assisted in merger and acquisition, documentation to firms, maintaining data base of contracts, maintaining group VFAR ( internal compliance) and other internal and external company compliance.

• Attending cases as Legal Representative before various forums in Delhi courts and NCR i.e. Consumers courts, Criminal courts, Civil Courts and Arbitrator and preparing legal strategy for speedier recovery• Briefing with Sr. advocates, follow-up with advocates, other Dept and police personal for company cases• Preparing legal MIS, agenda and minutes of meeting, Legal Documentation, Contracts, MOU, corporate compliances
