My role is positioned within the Category R&D structure to support claims, generate new innovative claims, bench mark current RB range products, mapping the vector borne diseases trends, product innovations. Attending relevant symposia and seminar and applying the knowledge to product strategies and pipeline development is important. • Apply Entomology understanding to purpose by identifying new formats, delivery systems, claims• Review of market development trends and launches• Keeping good track of disease trends, predictions, warnings• Working with cross functional teams to achieve set objectives on product strategy and pipeline• Draft and design Claims for pest category products• Record and report Product claim and substantiation documents with quality and integrity• Liaise with manufacturers and universities/technology centers for new product/format ideas

I am responsible for developing the formulation of new products in Home and Hygiene segments, generating the claims out of the formulation as per the consumer needs. I am also responsible for improvement in existing products in terms of product quality and efficiency. Apart from the above, also responsible for increasing the NR by doing cost saving projects and NR protection by developing new suppliers of raw materials to avoid any discontinuation in supply. The role involves full project management and alignment with all cross functional teams for timely execution of projects. I have been taking care of industrial trials and plant scale up of Home and Hygiene products.

Here I was involved in taking the lab trial for generating the prototypes and representative samples for initial testing and stability and also for alignment with marketing. I was also responsible for conducting the industrial trials and performing stability studies. I also worked in analytical section where I contributed in analysis of stability samples, raw materials. Also I worked for development and validating the test methods.
