The Senate is responsible for academic programs, educational policies, faculty appointments and tenure, qualifications for degrees and diplomas, conferring honorary degrees and appointing the Chancellor. The Senate also has the power to create, modify or remove schools, institutes, departments or chairs. I also sit on the Senate Finance Committee that oversees budgeting and finances for the university.

Interactive Ontario's mandate is to promote the interests of its members and to enlist the support of government and private sector partners with a vested interest in the growth of the digital media content industry.

YPO Gold Toronto is among the largest YPO chapters in the world with over 300 CEO members. As Chapter Chair I work with an exemplary Board to set the direction and strategy for our chapter, ensure we are delivering member value, and creating events across various officer portfolios that engage our membership, their spouses/partners, and our members' families. YPO is committed to lifelong learning and is the largest CEO network in the world. YPO (Young President's Organization) is the largest network of CEOs in the world with 30,000 members globally. As the Regional Learning Officer, I was a member of the Canadian Board of Directors and worked with the Chapter Learning Officers across the country to provide training, strategic planning assistance, facilitation, and expertise on developing a comprehensive educational curriculum for their chapter’s members. YPO's core philosophy is based on lifelong learning.

The University of Waterloo Alumni Council represents UWaterloo’s global alumni and provides an active alumni perspective and voice to enrich the University and enhance alumni engagement. It is one of three governing bodies of the university, in addition to the Senate and the Board of Governors.I've led multiple initiatives as part of my work on the Alumni Council, including chairing various task forces, creating the Toronto Alumni Chapter and helping to architect the Global Alumni Volunteer Network.

As the Chapter Chair for YPO Toronto, I have the unique role of leading leaders. I lead a highly engaged board comprised of CEO members who each are officers of a particular portfolio with specific goals and objectives. Collectively, we strive to ensure we deliver the greatest value possible to our YPO members with a spectrum of learning and networking opportunities within the Chapter, Regionally, and Internationally. I am also the representative for YPO Toronto on the Canadian Regional Executive team. YPO is a global organization comprised of over 25,000 CEOs with the philosophy of leadership, lifelong, learning.

The Learning Officer portfolio within YPO is a critical role since it involves developing the entire educational curriculum for the chapter membership. YPO's education is based on three pillars: Personal, Family, Business. The educational program needs to balance each pillar and ensure the membership, comprised entirely of CEOs and Presidents, derives incredible value. The theme for my educational year was "I'mpossible" with the objective of pushing members out of their comfort zone in a range of ways and then having them realize they've turned the impossible into possible.

The UW Stratford Campus delivers a world-class digital media program educating the next generation of professionals on one of the fasted growing industries globally. The vision statement of the campus is to "Be a world-renowned school where students come to learn how to tackle global challenges through innovation, human-centric thinking."

TransGaming was the global leader in delivering innovative technology solutions for the rapidly evolving video games industry. The company's proprietary technology allowed games to be migrated across multiple platforms without the need for redevelopment. TransGaming expanded into the distribution of video games-on-demand to Smart TVs, next-gen connected set-top boxes, and over-the-top connected devices. Through the acquisition of Oberon Media's Smart TV gaming division the company bolstered this business unit and established offices in Tel Aviv and Kiev. TransGaming was public on the TSX-V.TransGaming's technology division was acquired by NVIDIA in June 2015.

Big Blue Bubble is an acclaimed developer of mobile games, ranking as the largest independent mobile games company in Canada. The company has released games that have been enjoyed by in excess of one hundred million users globally with the beloved and critically acclaimed mobile game My Singing Monsters reaching over 80 million consumers globally. As the first professional CEO of the company, I realigned the organization towards a common mission statement, implemented strategic changes to catalyze growth, increased revenue by over 40% in my first year, and catapulted Big Blue Bubble to a globally recognized and dominant mobile games developer and publisher. I also established strategic partnerships with major IP companies such as Skybound to develop mobile games based on their franchises.

Worked with Intel executives and leading industry executives from CBS, Cisco, and many others to assist Intel's consumer products division in formulating and bringing to market new technologies and forging consumer product opportunities.

The digital media sector within Ontario is a rapidly growing industry segment and one that needs the provincial government's attention. I sat on Premier Wynn's advisory group for digital media to highlight the important growth factors for this industry sector, the kind of government support required to accelerate growth, provide strategic input on the needs and challenges of the industry, and showcase the many wins arising out of this sector including the volume of export, high-value job creation, academic and private sector collaboration, and the creation of intellectual capital.

Under Minister Michael Chan's leadership, the Ministry of Culture Tourism & Sports established a digital media advisory group to seek input on Ontario's digital media sector. My role was to provide strategic counsel, advocacy for the digital media sector within Ontario, and make strategic recommendations to the Ministry for the support of this vibrant and growing sector.

InterLogic Systems was the premier provider of sophisticated Computer Telephony Integrated solutions for Fortune 500 organizations. Our clients included Air Canada, RBC, TD, University of Toronto, Pacific Coast Savings Bank, and many others. The company was acquired by PRIMA Telematic.
