I work on VersaHD and Monaco treatment planning latest version. Monaco treatment planning is amazing .We could get the desired dose distribution for various indications ,which we were struggling in eclipse. We do at present IMRT,VMAT,SRT,SBRT,SRS. Recently we have commissioned Elekta Synergy & got approval from AERB.

My role in the department was to do treatment planning (3D conformal,IMRT,RapidArc,SRT) of cancer patients using Linear Accelerator of Varian Medical System . Treatment planning was done in Eclipse treatment planning system. Another role was to do calibration and quality assurance of Linear Accelerator (Varian Medical Systems),calibration and QA of GammMedPlus HDR brachytherapyunit, System Administration of ARIA . I have enjoyed RapidArc ,planned almost 550 cancer patients of various indications in that mostly head and neck cases successfully using RapidArc(Direct Aperture based optimisation) . I will never forget the experience .

My responsibility in the department involved the clinical treatment of cancer patients including treatment planning (3D conformal,IMRT,VMAT) using Xio and Monaco and their implementation. Periodic Quality Assurance of Linac (Elekta) and Nucletron HDR Brachy teaching were important responsibilities.

During 7.5 years in Elekta I have commissioned 10 linear Accelerators in India ,1 LA in Japan and 3 Leksell Gamma Knife in India . I took care of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs of the company.
