Qc Inspector- Civil
CurrentRole & Responsibilities- Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and Pdo specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site. Familiar with International Standards ( ACI, ASTM, AASTHO, BS, BSEN, BSCP, DIN and ISO). Review the scope of work and AFC drawings prior to starting activities at the site. Escalate to QAE & Construction team if any new changes are made (or) identify potential issues or discrepancies are made in the AFC drawings. Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan (ITP/QCP). Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report. Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction. Carry out AIPSM check, quality walk and QTBT at the site with PDO QA/QC on a regular basis and maintain the relevant documents and Pdo SP requirements. Preparing final all reports as per approved ITPs and project specifications. Ensuring and follow up with construction team to close-out of all Snags/Punch-points within the time frame agreed with the client. Conducting and witnessing Construction materials sand, cement, aggregate, steel and all other materials at site as per the relevant Pdo specifications. Inspect the Site construction work and provide non-conformity reports to highlight the deviations. Preparation of final quality dossiers (CCMS check sheets)/test packs and maintaining backups of completed quality dossiers/test packs.
