Experience in Testing Power Converter - Doubly fed power converter for wind turbines equipped with a doubly-fed induction generator with high-speed drive-train technology. A mature technology used by many of the main turbine manufacturers. The power panel is the medium that is used to transmit the generated power to the grid through Air Circuit Breaker (ACB). In a pitch-controlled wind turbine, the turbine's electronic controller checks the power output of the turbine several times per second. When the power output becomes too high, it sends an order to the blade pitch mechanism which immediately pitches (turns) the rotor blades slightly out of the wind.
