Key Result Areas:Construction of New Dry Dock: Indian Navy-DGNP Mumbai (M/s HCC)- Project Management & Technical Consultant:Design review and construction of two identical floating Caisson gates of dimension 46m L, 7m W and 16.4m H. Design review and construction of seven identical Modules of Intermediate gate of dimension 6.3m L, 1m W and21.5m H. Worked on fabrication drawing and liaising with IRS class for approval, nesting plans and outfit items of bothGates. NDT Scheme for blocks, complete gate and Lifting Scheme for the fabricated blocks at Yard. IRS approvals for design and drawing amendments.2) Submarine launching facility: Mazagaon Dockyard Limited,Mumbai, India --Technical Consultants for the project:Floating Dry Dock: Involved in making of preliminary and final detailed project report (DPR) for the project. Design review and modification to the preliminary design of FDD. Liaison with the classification society (IRS) during design approval stage.Lifting Beam: Involved in design and review of the lifting beam. Modeled lifting beam structure in Autodesk fusion 360 package. FEA with various load conditions defined and report. Tender write-up for Fabrication of designed Lifting Beam Structure.3) Ship Recycling Facility: Mombasa – Kenya-Technical Consultants for the project: Feasibility study and report for establishing new ship recycling facility. Preliminary design along with all systems required, allocation of area for systems, processes involved stagewise etc.4) Vessel Modification- Barge: Modest and Parsons, Mumbai Inclining Experiment procedure and IRS approval Performed the vessel Inclining test followed by lightship establishment and class approval Tank sounding calibration table, Stability booklet and loading manual. Hatch cover design and fabrication assistance. Inspection of hot works for modified structures.

Key Result Areas: Worked on plan approval from classification society for vessel’s flag change Carried out intact and damaged stability calculations for a vessel’s double hull conversion. Calculations includedpreliminary Inclining experiment and booklet for the same. Preliminary design of a barge followed with scantling calculation, weight estimation and approx. cost estimation for aMumbai based client. Survey carried out on ONGC OSV for the extension of deck and submission of feasibility report to the client. Spearheading activities involving planning and improving the business and services of the company. Devising effective strategies for augmenting business.

Summer Internship at Pipavav Shipyard gave me a detailed knowledge about Shipyard layout, Fabrication Processes, Design and Dry Dock operations :Four weeks at Design Department in guidance of Mr M. Arjunan & Nelson Mandela headed by Mr Gundy (HOD Design dept) fetch me a great exposure to the understanding of design drawings and then conversion of same into the production drawings for Bulk carrier and Offshore supply vessel.Two weeks at Fabrication yard in guidance of supervisors and Engineers made me understand the different areas of fabrication and also the standard procedures of fabrication from steel store yard to painting yard .Two weeks at dry dock and wet dock exposed me to the actual erection of fabricated blocks from fabrication yard and also different machinery and their installation on constructed vessels,
