As a civil engineer with a passion for project management, I am pursuing a postgraduate certification in Project Management from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I have learned to use software tools such as Jira and MS Project to plan, execute, and monitor complex IT projects. I have also gained hands-on project management experience through a dynamic internship at NBCC India, where I contributed to the coordination and delivery of several infrastructure projects, such as bridges, roads, and buildings, and assisted senior engineers with budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Currently, I am working as an event representative at Toronto Metropolitan Association of Part-time Students (TMAPS), where I am involved in organizing and facilitating seminars, workshops, and social gatherings for part-time students, securing venues, liaising with performers, and managing registrations. I also work as a promotional associate at Canadian Tire Corporation, where I create engaging and informative content for various marketing campaigns and platforms, such as flyers, brochures, social media, and websites. Through these roles, I have developed and demonstrated core competencies in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and creativity, as well as a diverse skill set in event planning, content creation, and generative AI, which I have explored through online courses and projects. I am eager to apply my technical skills, industry insights, and education to excel in an entry-level project coordinator role in Canada, where I can leverage my engineering background, project management knowledge, and content creation abilities to contribute to successful project outcomes and organizational goals.
