I entered into the field of Economics, from engineering, by an accident. And then I fell in love with its versatility and scope. Specifically, I am interested in how economies and societies work and interact. Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Economics from IGIDR, Mumbai. I am an empirical economist and work on almost all kinds of Indian dataset. Apart from my research, I enjoy teaching a lot. I hope to take up teaching and research (of Economics and other social sciences) as my career. I love reading books, mostly non-fiction, on various worldly and not-so-worldly things.
