Vikas Pota is an advocate, entrepreneur and community builder. He is the Founder & CEO of T4 Education, a digital platform he established as a response to the challenges posed by the pandemic on education which is focused on strengthening schools, globally. As a result of selecting 50 schools every year for the World's Best School Prizes, he realised the commonality between these high-performing schools lay in the area of them actively working on embedding a positive school culture, which forms the bedrock of a ground-breaking initiative called 'Best School to Work' which helps schools assess and improve their school culture and communicate to the wider community their school's positive working environment, which is critical in retaining and recruiting the best teachers and leaders.Vikas is also the Executive Chairman of the Education Leaders Forum, which is a community of successful businesses across the sector who at their core believe in the importance of collaborative innovation as a path to exponential growth.Recognising the biggest challenge most organisations face, Vikas founded Inicio Partners, to find them the best leadership talent in the world.Earlier in his career, Vikas set up and ran a philanthropic foundation focused on education; he has made the case at UN platforms, the G20 and to several Governments about the Sustainable Development Goals; he established a technical & vocational skills business in Africa to tackle the youth unemployment crisis; he set up a corporate venture capital business investing in high growth edtech businesses; and lead on the brand, marketing, communications and corporate affairs strategy for a globally renowned K-12 education business.Vikas serves on several non-profit boards. He was an Honorary Lecturer at UCL Institute of Education, was a Visiting Practitioner at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and served as a Senior Policy Fellow at the University of Cambridge's Centre for Science & Policy.He has been recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum; was accorded the status of one of London’s 1000 most influential persons; is a member of the Young Presidents Organisation and was celebrated as the European Laureate of their Global Impact Award; and has been awarded two honorary doctorates by leading universities in the world in recognition of his achievements.
