Advising and creating persuasive visuals like photo-realistic renders, 3D animations, videos, slides, infographics etc.

I was involved in product development and marketing. I have done a lot of graphic design, 3D modelling and photo-realistic computer rendering as well as some basic studio photography. I also represented the company at the Dutch Design Week 2013.

My startup side project that I’ve pitched to potential buyers in the USA. Decided to stop because it turned out to be misaligned with my personal values and drive, among other reasons.Considering the opportunity cost, having a dedicated complementary team and addressing a big-enough market are just a few lessons I have enjoyed learning the hard way.

Our multidisciplinary team has developed the first business plan for a customizable water bottle, made out of bio-plastics. We received a rough diamond award at YES!Delft (RtS course). In November 2013, ZAZA Waterbottles was awarded 12.000€ in a Czech start-up competition as the best out of 58 participating projects.

The goal was to make a concept within the architectural context of Rotterdam which would make a person named Jan happy. It is the result of Design for Happiness and Subjective Well being course. Group work of 2.

Evenaar is a stability and balance training device for elderly. It is a professional physiotherapeutic device used at physiotherapy centers, clinics and elderly homes. MicroScan is a hand held video microscope used by doctors and nurses in an emergency room to "measure" blood micro-circulation under the patient's tongue. With this patented technology doctors can discover blood poisoning (sepsis) at the patient's bed side much faster that with traditional methods. One of the main problems schizophrenic patients face is integration back to society once they come out of the psychiatric hospital. As a part of a ViP course I've developed a concept for the psychiatric hospital Parnassia. The solution turned out to be a mobile app which helps to keep friendships between psychotic patients and their friends and family. Individual project based on a group research. The Mepo concept is a combination of a chair lift and a stair walker. It helps elderly climb and decent stairs. The concept got an Audience award for the best concept among 117 other projects.
