• Member of senior management in the Production department, working closely with the Head of Production and other Portfolio Managers to streamline processes and workflows to ensure the highest quality in our final products.• Management of a team of seven Production Managers, overseeing bioscience, biomedical, life science, health and engineering open access journals and a team of over sixty production staff.• Responsible for recruiting, training and induction of new Production Managers.

• Contribute to the L&D strategy for global Journals Production• Work with the department leadership team to organise and execute the departmental development plan• Source, edit and assist in developing training programmes.

• Management of own journal list to ensure production schedules are met to time and budget.• Responsible for recruiting, training and induction of new Production Editors.• Performance and resource management, coaching and monitoring of a team of eight Production Editors.• Creating, maintaining and revising documentation of right-first-time workflows.

• Fulfilling the role of Production Editor, whilst assisting the Deputy Managers with the training of new Production Editors.• Contributed to the company’s internship programme by conducting candidate interviews.
