Assign and approve audits, monitor the audit program and lead a team of seven tax auditors within the district tax office. Represent the agency to appear in administrative appeal hearings testifying audit findings or benefits re-determination decisions. Conduct workshops or outreach classes at local community colleges or professional groups. Collect delinquent tax reports and past-due tax payments from employers. File legal documents to secure debt owes to the state and to perform advance legal actions such as filing Property Liens, Warrants, Notice of Assessments, Garnishments and serve Subpoenas.
