Working with the amazing doctors and staff, I strategically help Distinctive Eyewear retain current patients and attract new families to the practice while helping to create strong internal communication channels throughout the practice. Current efforts include website redesign, internal communications, email marketing strategy and execution, brand strategy, social media strategy, creation of a new patient referral program and a loyalty program.

The Westlake Council of PTAs (WCPTAs) is an umbrella organization supporting the five Westlake City School District PTA units, including the Westlake Early Childhood PTA, Westlake Elementary School PTA, Dover Intermediate School PTA, Lee Burneson Middle School PTA and the Westlake High School PTSA. As the WCPTAs Communications Chair, I facilitate internal communications among the WCPTAs organization, as well as among the five PTA units. I am also in charge of the strategy, creation, audience management, as well as measurement and analysis of weekly newsletters for three of the five units. In this role I collaborate with members from all five umbrella units, community partners, school staff and administration and the city school District.

I created and executed thoughtful community-centered social media and newsletter strategies for the Westlake Elementary School PTA. I created and distributed weekly newsletters in English and Arabic. I developed internal communications strategies for the 40+ organizational chairs, and assisted them in originating compelling, relevant and motivating communications centered on WES PTA programs and events. I was also responsible for providing internal communications support to the Westlake Elementary School administration.

I worked with TA's marketing department on strategy and content creation for core business lines, including the UltraONE loyalty program.

I conducted an internal audit of programs and process to assess current status of the communications programs and suggestions for best practices moving forward. I created and delivered a detailed overview of present day assessments, as well as suggestions for strategic next steps.

I supported Dwellworks by providing strategic guidance and content creation on intercultural country guides used across their organization.

I partnered with Relevant, a mobile app leader, to strategically identify and share stories of how they help restaurant chains drive traffic and sales through mobile loyalty, customized for their brand and customers.

As a board member, I supported the extraordinary work of America SCORES Cleveland with communications strategy and programs. ASC provides unique after-school programming for hundreds of youth in nine Cleveland public schools, teaching soccer, creative writing and service learning to measurably improve fitness, literacy and community engagement.

I built a strategic communications foundation for the nonprofit that includes audience mapping, competitive landscape identification, messaging development and content strategy (collateral, website, social, events, etc.).

As the communications manager, I counseled union leaders on marketing, advertising and public relations strategies. As an account executive, I crafted national public relations campaigns from conception to completion for new business and existing clients, including product launches, events and press conferences. Key accomplishments at Wills:- Driving force behind the opening of IHOP’s 1000th store. Developed the concept (sky divers dressed as fruit landing in the store parking lot), created a plan including budget, coordinated staging elements, negotiated and hired vendors, built the media lists, drafted and distributed media materials, attracted community leaders to participate, negotiated a cross-promotion with United Way, pitched media and provided on-site representation. The campaign received over 100 broadcast hits nationally.- Headed up celebrity relations for Madame Tussaud’s to secure portrait sittings, securing Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Geller.- Created a crisis communications plan for a national restaurant chain.
