Developed an iOS app that made running into a game by letting you capture territory and compete with other people. Won MassHack 2014, and built the product as it grew to 10k users.

Developed and maintained edX projects that enabled tens of thousands of students to have their essays and short answers automatically graded or graded by peers.

Developed an open source tool that automatically graded student essays and short responses. This work made it to the front page of the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/05/science/new-test-for-computers-grading-essays-at-college-level.html) and many other newspapers.Also worked on a system to help tens of thousands of students using edX get peer reviews of their work.

Served overseas in Georgetown, Guyana. Adjudicated non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications as a Consular Officer from June 2010 to May 2011. Strengthened commercial links between the United States and Guyana while serving as an Economic and Commercial Officer from May 2011 to September 2011. Reported on high profile issues such as trafficking in persons, gold mining, oil exploration, and internal Guyanese politics.
