I am working as a Manager in the Business Development Team in the Public Sector Consulting Practice at Grant Thornton, Gurgaon. I was earlier involved on an Audit and Assurance assignment of Grant Thornton UK LLP. The client was Teachers' Pension (TP) on behalf of Department for Education (DfE), UK. It was on "Teachers' Pension Scheme" and I was working with different UK based clients in the same. It involved preparation of testing workpapers for them based on End of Year Certificate (EOYC), preparation and discussion of clarifications on the workpapers, preparation of Independent Accountant Report (IAR) and revising/updating the workpapers and IAR based on the responses from the client. In addition, I was involved in the assignment of "Program Management Unit (PMU) for Cluster Development Program of National Horticulture Board". Prior to this, I was involved in the Business Development of Agriculture Sector Proposals.I was earlier involved in the engagement with Invest India of Design and Production of States’ Startup Ranking 2019 Reports and 4-Year Achievement Report for Startup India.I have earlier been involved on different skill development engagements of NSDC - Due Diligence under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra, Diligence of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Proposals, Due Diligence under Recognition of Prior Learning etc. Prior to this, I was involved in the assignment of "Technical and Financial Due Diligence of Funding and Non Funding Proposals" for NSDCIn addition, I was involved in Business Development in skill development sector in the public sector practice wherein I was involved in identifying and evaluating skill development opportunities, responding to Expression of Interests (EOIs)/Request for Proposals (RFPs), maintaining a business development tracker, leveraging existing network and clients to seek additional mandates, following up with the clients at the Proposal and the Project Execution stage.Prior to this, I was involved in a World Bank funded Public Sector Financial Management Project and two Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) projects.I hold MBA (Financial Management) (earlier nomenclature was Master of Finance and Control (MFC)) from Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) with specialisation in Finance from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi.My Key Areas of Expertise include Business Development, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Auditing & Accounting, Project Management, M&E, Management Consulting, Due Diligence etc
