    Senior Database Administrator / DB2 System Programmer• Installed DB2 V10 for 20 complex systems Responsible for design, development and deployment of large database systems 50 TB and over for several application teams for high availability DB2 applications in JAVA/CICS.• Responsible for installation, migration and maintenance of over 20 DB2 V9 NFM systems• Responsible for tuning DB2 systems and objects to increase performance on a system and application level. Successfully reduced application times from 200 milliseconds to 100 milliseconds.• Installed, configured and supported change data capture (CDC) for numerous application teams. Developed and built a process for monitoring CDC. CDC at TransUnion is the replication tool responsible to replicating a million rows daily from heterogeneous applications.• Built several PHP/DB2 applications to support application teams in determining access to tables, compare schemas, and monitor CDC and exception reporting for object sizes. Resulting in significant reduction of application down time. • Developed process to compare data from two schemas using SYNCSORT and REXX/Edit macros which replaced third party software Princeton tools (estimated saving $100,000/year).• Developed and implemented a process to copy a production database of over 50 TB to a test system using DSN1COPY. Implementation resulted in over a $50,000 savings by not having to invest in third party software.• Led disaster recovery team for three consecutive years. Responsible for recovering all DBMS’s for TransUnion at IBM facility in Maryland. DBMS’s include DB2 z/OS, DB2 LUW, ORACLE and SYBASE.• Managed team of ten for rollout of high visibility projects. Projects include DB2 V9, CA JOBTRAC, Z/OS upgrade• TransUnion’s environment consisted of MVS on z/OS, DB2 V8,CA Tools , CICS, JAVA/JDBC, WEBSPHERE, DB2 Connect, REXX/ISPF dialogs, PHP, CA Tools, Change Data Capture, Granger, WINSQL.
