EXPO 2020: Ireland Pavilion is a country pavilion built by the Irish Government. The pavilion was the first of its kind to have completed the execution and the all related authority procedures and handed over back to the Expo team and the Irish Government for its opening. The project was carried out undisturbed through the difficult times of Covid 19 pandemic and still be managed to handed over over on time by the project team. I as the project Engineer during the stressful time have planned and carried out all the works for the successful handover of the building.

Played an active role in the execution and completion the Cove project in Al Hudairayt Island - Abu Dhabi. The project is an Entertainment and leisure development for the public built by the Abu Dhabi Government. The project consisted of development of commercial buildings along the island coast and a variety of play areas with extensive landscape and parking lots. The walkways through the 13 buildings built lead to the beach on one side and the jetties at the other end.

My roles are to carry out the inspections raised by the Main contractor for the project related activities. I review and approve all the shop drawings prior to execution of the work on the site. I carry out inspection of materials and oversee the quality of the work and the safety of the site. In addition I take part in all progress and technical meetings and report to the Resident Engineer.

As an intern is how i happened to join Dubuild Contracting in one their projects( G+9 residential apartment) in fujairah. From there on my career started to be molded. I happened to be the youngest in the company which in turn made me to be their easiest person to approach to do all their works. I started as a site engineering and in a short span i was given the responsibility to handle a G+1 office and Warehouse project in Abu Dhabi followed by a position as technical and procurement in-charge. Following were the roles and responsibilities assigned to me during the entire span of me working in each of the companies projects:G+9 Residential Building (Fujairah) – Site Engineer, from May 2013 to August 2013.Skills: had been practicing in internal finishing works of the project.Steel Factory project (ICAD-III, Mussafha, Abu Dhabi) – Project Engineer, from September 2013- September 2014.Roles and Responsibilities: • Site Planning and execution.• Project Engineering works (Submission of shop drawings and materials).• Material Procurement.• Authority inspection and approvals.• Cost and time variation claims.• Preparation of baseline program and updating of project progress. German International School (Academic city, Dubai) – Project Engineer & Technical Engineer, from October 2014 – September 2015.Roles and Responsibilities: • Project technical Engineer and Site coordinator.• Project Engineer Works (Submission of shop drawings and materials).• Material procurement and tracking of material delivery to site.• Heading out procurement meetings.• Material order placement and price negotiations.• Review and preparation of contract and contract amendment works for sub-contractors.• Complete site coordination with sub-contractors at site during execution upto project closeout. • Subcontract payment certification.• Preparation and submittal of technical documents for project.• Attending technical meetings and progress meetings.
