I began my career at Allied Mills Brendale in February 2012, following my relocation to Brisbane. The site specializes in the production of a diverse range of bakery products, including various breads, hot cross buns, and other seasonal offerings.As I gained experience, I progressively assumed greater responsibilities and eventually advanced to the role of Production Team Leader/Supervisor. In this position, I oversee a team of 15-20 employees across two production lines and two packing lines, managing operations on a rotational shift schedule. I report directly to the Site Manager.My primary responsibilities include managing daily production processes, addressing staff concerns, ensuring compliance with safety standards, upholding product quality, and resolving operational issues during 12-hour shifts. I am also an active participant in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of site operations.In addition to my operational duties, I regularly utilize various software applications, including SAP, to monitor and streamline production workflows. This role has provided me with valuable opportunities to develop my leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills while ensuring efficient and high-quality production outcomes.
