As the engineering leader in customer trust and partner services team, I own an AWS technology-based data lake and suite of services to support solutions that evaluate risk and prevent/mitigate negative customer experiences stemming from risk, fraud and/ or abuse. The solutions are anchored on machine learning and data science solutions at scale. With an eye on scale, I support user journeys by providing raw and curated data (double-digit PB) both synchronously and asynchronously. This data is then consumed by an end to end machine learning tool chain. My team offers 1) data and machine learning model catalogs, 2) self service creation and maintenance of test and production data pipelines and, 3) out of the box integration with security and compliance solutions. Working as a consultant for Impetus Technologies at American Express, I worked as a Scrum Master/ Project Manager to deliver critical capabilities for a five-year legacy to big data technologies modernization initiative in the Credit Risk and Fraud business units from Oct 2015 to June 2016. The capabilities owned by my team were business critical for the external customers and also for other sister engineering teams. My team's effort would help save $10MM in optimized commodity hardware and business realization due to 10x faster response/decision/flag. I owned the full-stack development of the solution including optimizing the solution for scale , performance, reliability and availability.Between June 2016 to October 2018, I managed an end to end program to migrate one version of a big-data enterprise data lake to a faster and secure version of the data lake. This program fulfilled a critical compliance audit requirement. The overall program scope required migration of over two thousand data feeds across two hundred systems of records and over three hundred business use cases running on them. The effort required collaboration and tracking across six core development teams (across different time zones), coordination with multiple business units and executives (engineering and business leadership) and compliance reporting.Between October 2018 and May 2020, I owned a no-code product offering the creation, maintenance and execution of data transformations for data engineering and business analysis teams. These were created and maintained using the data sources from the big data enterprise data lake. The product provided a DevOps pipeline with quality gates as output for users to promote the transformations to production.In all 3 roles, I was responsible for customer (product team and end users) management, project management and team management. I also helped define a future-proof technology and architecture solution for the products and streams I owned.

As a consultant from Impetus Technologies working with ConnectureDRX, I owned the delivery of a product that provided the enrollment workflow of an insurance application under the affordable healthcare act. I also owned the roll-out of the product for 3 US states during the 2015 open enrollment. I managed four engineering teams that catered to core product development and customization of the product to laws and compliance regulations of each state. The technologies were React Redux, BackboneJS, Drools, Java, Hibernate and Oracle. I managed customer requests and expectations by coordinating with the customer engineering and product teams. I worked across the engineering and product leadership hierarchy to seek feedback, adopt it in subsequent upcoming deliveries and manage escalations. I was responsible for a large engagement of more than 50 engineers. I owned the project plan, schedule, estimation, task allocations, budgeting and metrics-based executive and team level reporting. I also liaisoned with the client partners, customers of clients and solution architects to define the engineering roadmap, evaluating technical choices and trade-offs and performance and scale.

Working as a consultant from Impetus Technologies with Dun and Bradstreet, I was responsible for successful completion of the project on time, on budget and on specification to delight and satisfy customers of the corporate credit risk assessment portal for North America and European markets. I was accountable for a scrum team's technical vision for a module. I was responsible for project execution, meeting timelines, achieving planned milestones, ensuring quality of deliverables sent to clients, project monitoring & control, and project closure. I was the primary point of contact for the client in all project life cycle activities for quality delivery and reducing risk.
