My role is to produce accurate 3D models of the proposed structure to identify any clashes with the architect’s and others’ models early on. This helps to inform the structural design and eliminates problems occurring at the construction phase. I then produce accurate drawings to document the design. coordination with other services to exchanging Revit models, live clash detection, checking shop drawings and do some site visit to inspect site/shop construction. documenting drawings/reports as per SDL standard.

I was a Structural technician in WSP Noida, India. I was in bridges and heavy civils department, My roll was to work on Revit model, generate drawings from model, report to engineers in office and in UK, I worked on some good big projects (Building, Bridges, foot over bridges and Stations) in WSP, Once I got opportunity to join a station team in Edinburg, UK. I was there for two months to attend meetings and worked on project.

I was Architectural assistance there, I was working with UK team on high rise buildings.

As a Sr. CAD Technician I was working in I.A.Informatics, we were outsourcing working from USA, I got chance to go to America to attend project meetings, work with project team and get some project site experience. Mainly we worked Architectural and Structural drawings, steel detailing. I was handling a small team and working with them, My responsibility were to work on project drawings on CAD & Revit software, as per clients standard, reporting to manager regarding project issues, chats, estimates and submitted drawings.
