I started my career as a farmer and ran a poultry breeding farm for 4 years. While pursuing my Masters, after my stint with farming, I met Dr Subhashini Passi, Institute of Creative Thinking, Indore, with whom I worked for three years all over the country on Creativity, Whole Brain Thinking and Leadership . I was also visiting faculty at the School of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidaylaya, Indore and a few other colleges.For a year I joined a social service outfit with which I worked as a Carer at The Hollies, an elderly peoples home in Cambridge, UK. I also did a short stint with Mayo College at Ajmer teaching computers and in my spare time, swimming.The Body Shop in Dubai, UAE was my first assignment in HR and Training. After 3 years I essayed a similar role for another 3 years at Freight Systems and then with Samsung and Nokia in L&D roles. In December of 2008 I started Bedoha. Varun Agarwal, Rakhee Sharma and I run the company. Over the 25 years in L&D I have worked in all areas of behaviour: Leadership, Team Building, Communication, Creativity, Behavioural Interview, Presentation Skills and Coaching. I have also run Assessment/Development Centres for individuals and teams. My work has taken me all over India and to 21 countries, which comprise Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Dubai, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Finland, England, Zambia, Kenya, Nairobi, Iran, Burma and Denmark.My methodologies/approaches comprise Facilitation, Training, Group Coaching, Individual Coaching with support of outdoors, psychometrics, theatre and various other forms of simulations and exercises.Reportedly, over the years, I have become aware that I have a personable style, infused with humour and the ability to bring incisive observations about individuals and teams. I use provocation and compassion in equal measures to close the gaps between ideal and real states of individuals and teams.
