It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as a CSR Professional, having graduated as a Certified CSR Professional from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs’ (IICA) first batch in 2015.The IICA Certificate Programme (ICP) in CSR of National Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (NFCSR) under IICA with its first batch commenced in October 2014. The successful candidate has to undergo robust academic and field training with distance learning, mentoring through local Institution of national repute with coaching classes, Project with Implementing Agency (generally an NGO) and an attachment with a corporate.Further to my being the CSR Professional, I have rich exposure in my 40 years work experience:(1) Commercial Banking (2) Development Banking(3) Gujarat Government Expert with Technical Secretariat of Public Sector Restructuring Programme with erstwhile Price Waterhouse (PWC), Washington under aegis of Asian Development Bank, Manila, Philippines(4) Liaison Officer with Industry Minister, Government of Gujarat (GOG)(5) Independent Evaluator to Watershed Projects of Rural Development Department, Government of India (GOI)(6) Facilitator cum Evaluator to rural grant projects of CAPART (GOI)(7) Project Evaluator to MGNAREGA Scheme(GOG)(8) Administrator of Gujarat State Red Cross Society of India(9) District Chairman for various service and administrative activities of Lions Clubs International District 323-B and many more.The above provided me a larger canvas to understand the work to be undertaken for CSR activities, evaluation of project and implementing agency, implementation, evaluation & monitoring, report preparation, and meeting statutory requirements for implementation of CSR under Companies Act 2014.
