Handling the Strategic Brand Management function for the brand Mercedes-Benz across India and the Indian sub-continents of Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. My key responsibilities included the following:- Creating national & regional advertising campaigns, performing media analysis and communication research, monitoring competition share-of-voice & ad-tracking.- Directing organizational resources to achieve improved performance benchmarks in Brand Showcases and Auto Shows while collaborating with cross-functional staff teams, managers, dealerships & external agencies.- Conducting nationwide BTL and promotional activities like road-shows, product launches, customer engagement programs and CRM activities in co-ordination with the dealer network.- Managing creative agencies/ vendors in conceptualising, designing, production and distribution of all print collaterals and point-of-purchase/ sale deliverables.- Optimize and monitor departmental media & marketing budgets and consistently develop new marketing plans to implement projects effectively, while maximizing returns.- Training the nationwide Dealer personnel and the company staff on the guiding philosophy of the Brand: Mercedes-Benz, its positioning & communication objectives.
