I am working in HY PERFORMANCE VALVE as a mechanical engineer with job responsibilities towards managing the designs of knife gate valves by designing and developing the mechanical components by using design softwares like SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCADD ETC. Quality control and making inspections for the parts which we manufactured after developing to release before production. Meeting with clients and getting the quotes to develop the new parts. Working on project from mining companies to provide them the knife gate valves to suits their requirements.

• Research and analyse customer design proposals.• Specify the parameters and data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of design.• Design and Development of CNC & Conventional Milling Machines.• Designing of operating mechanism of machines.• Analysis of mechanical systems, including finite element analysis for structural fatigue, thermal & vibrations.• Selection of mechanical components such as Ball Screws. Linear Motion Rail, Bearings, Servomotors, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.• Calculation for design components.• Generating 3D models of sub-assemblies to create detailed component drawings using the CAD software SOLID WORKS.• Up-gradation of mechanical parts and assemblies, to improve existing design.• To resolve design complication raised during the manufacturing and inspection of the components.• Confer with assembly and other departments to implement operating procedures, resolve malfunction during assembly and provide technical information’s• Interacting and approving the vendor’s technical datasheet/ drawings required for the machine development.• Preparation of the technical reports like Machine Specifications, Test Charts, Bill of Material, Maintenance Manual & Spare Part Manual of the Mechanical Systems.

• To work in 3D modelling and assembly module drawings and drafting of various components and sub-assemblies.• Create and redesign complex layouts, models and drawings using CAD tools like CATIA-V5, Auto-CAD, PRO-E, and Solid-Works.• Planning the Manufacturing Process to make a component.• Calculating and costing the materials for Dies (Sheet Metal Dies, Plastic Injection Mould Die).• Managing vendors to produce parts and assemblies on schedule.• Documentation of various reviews and presentation for audit purpose.• Preparation of the technical reports like Specifications, Bill of Material & Maintenance Manual of the product.
