Worked in the initial days of setup of a performance team. Was responsible for setting up a performance monitoring, observatory metric platform, infrastructure to execute performance verification runs for different workflows of the product and generation of the reports. Was involved with the product and architecture team to identify and resolve product performance issues. Worked in performance verification of different features of the product, running regression benchmarks for every release, finding perf issues, identifying the bottlenecks and performing code fixes to resolve them.

Worked in performance engineering which involved performance verification and optimization ofdifferent features for the product by generating loads, investigating and finding theperformance bottleneck whether its related to product software code or theunderlying system( ex- slowness, scaling, features failing due to out of memory, etc). Worked with different stakeholders(developers, architects) to assist with the performance issues, finding the root causes, proposing the solutions and applying code fixes. Worked on the designing and development of the benchmark framework, which involved setting up of the system, running the benchmark, gathering system stats, normalizing the system stats, comparisons and generating reports out of the data gathered.
