• Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.• Prepare bids on Accubid and Autobid Sheet Metal. Analyze project estimates, including material costs, labor expenses, and subcontractor bids ranging from CAD$ 200k to 7 Million ICI and residential - Unionized.• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, SI, change orders, and monthly progress draws.• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor work progress and identify potential issues or risks.• Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, GC and internal teams to provide project updates and address concerns.• Manage procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating contracts and pricing as needed.• Evaluate project performance against established metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

• Assist Senior and Intermediate staff to develop mechanical systems designs for a variety of projects in Auto CAD- HVAC, Domestic and drainage (Sanitary & Storm piping), Hydronic Heating piping (VVTs, Cabinet heaters, Radiation & Ceiling panels), Ventilation- Ductwork & Fire Protection in accordance with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and ASHRAE standards.• Performing and completing design calculations in HAP & ASHRAE Calc 62.1 as required for building permit - Heat loss/ Cooling Load calculations & pipe sizing for various buildings which include – Public Elementary schools, Public Libraries & Mix use buildings.• Responsible for drafting (AutoCAD) or modeling (Revit) mechanical systems for projects under the supervision of Senior and Intermediate staff.• Responsible for Drawing setups, X- Ref & Title bock clean ups, Overlays according to company standards for various Projects

• Responsible for mechanical design calculation such as Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning, sizing of Expansion tank, pressurization unit and de-aeration sizing, Grooved Pipe Joining Technology, Side and full stream filtration system for cooling tower, Electrochemical scale treatment etc. in accordance with applicable building codes.

• Analyze and prepare full report on the problem diagnosed, the solution according to the SOPs, presenting ideas to senior management in form of presentation and recommend improvements.• Coordinating, managing the HVAC consignment and assisting the sub-contractor for proper flow of work.

• Collaborate with consultant and contractors to achieve quality sustainable building designs, generate, and incorporate our HVAC system equipment’s accessories in AutoCAD to meet client’s requirements.• Gathering information about new projects, prepare BOQ, Specification, compliance sheets and other technical documents.
