Training given to 350 supervisors in different batches. Total training given 600+ man-days till.Designing in-house training manuals for training programs about TQM 5S-3M), TPM, DWM, Kaizen, SMED, Poka Yoke & other key elements of business excellence. Responsibilities for defining standards and guidelines for excellent business results in terms of PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, & Morale). Having healthy competition with Havells, Panasonic and Anchor.My Profile- Managing 4 Operational Plants & 1 Warehouse in Haridwar, as Operations Head for PPC, Production, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Maintenance, & FG warehouse Management.This was like a green field project in terms of systems.My role begins with establishing the required departments & Hierarchy for PPC, Quality Assurance ( IQC-In process & Outgoing). Here some decisions taken & actions are :-> Inventory recounted & found 24 Lacs Moulded & metallic parts gap due to which production planning was not accurate. After correction in inventory & good production planning, production increased from 10 Lacs parts/month to 14 Lacs parts/ month, approx. 40 % increase in 3 months.> Due to poor planning market backlog was huge, only covering 128 models in a month, but after covered models increased to 160 & backlog was 0.> Daily Morning meeting started with previous day planned vs. gaps in production, quality, maintenance, materials, HR, PPC for analysis & recovery plan. > Initially, Quality department did not exist, in process rejection was huge due to bad material supplied direct at line from store, but after existence of IQC department, material captured before shop floor & in process rejection reduced, where it hits the productivity directly.> IQC rejected material started sent back to supplier with rejection report & samples for actions.> Line stoppages eliminated due to materials, by maintaining Min- Max level & FIFO system applied, -
