I have been working within the cruise industry for several years now as an onboard Shop manager on cruise line. Recently, I have been re-evaluating my skill sets and interests and have come to believe that an on shore position with Fine Jewelry or Branded Luxury products would suit me well. Here are some of the key skills I possess that I feel would help me succeed in such a job.Industry Knowledge: Having worked both on board and on port such as Jamaica, I am very familiar with Luxury sales culture. I know my products & the market very well, so I would be able to assist most clientele with minimal training. In addition, my on board experience has prepared me for fast pace life & adaptability to any living conditions, regulations, etc. that might be a problem for most new joiners.Communication Skills: Over the years I have developed excellent communication and networking skills while working with an international team. I enjoy meeting new people and thrive in social settings, and I have learned how to use these skills to engage clients in my presentations and ultimately close more sales as a result.Passion for Travel & Adventure: Whether for business or pleasure, travel has always been a big part of my life and I have taken advantage of many opportunities to explore our world. From my personal travel experiences and what I have learned from others, I am confident that I can guide most clients to make the best choices to ensure they have the experience of a lifetime when they shop with me. Apart from these, I am also a results-driven person, energetic, and eager to learn.
