Preparation of Purchase Order after finalizing order with transporter. Duty sheet record enters in BAAN system. Co – Ordination with Transporter – Vendor. Arrangement of Transportation (Local & Interstate). Clearance of Bill (Octroi & Freight). Maintaining R-Form record in BAAN system

Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Maintaining inventories.Total control on Part Location.Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion.Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.Improve customer service level by rapid supply of parts.Handling inventory control & data entry of in and out of inventory. Handling local purchase from different vendors. And all store administration.

Job Responsibilities:Working in ERP system - BAAN. The work involves Technical understanding of various Logistics requirements, enquiries for inviting quotations.Transportation operation at night times for transportation of break-bulk cargo till Mumbai Port inside the ship.Continuous follow/feedback to the customers & ensuring final payment to the transporters. Planning for material dispatch from plant to various vendors from the division. Co-ordination with store department for dispatch of materials.Types of Logistics Handled includes:-A) Outbound Logistics:- By Road – Truck/Mechanical Trailer/Hydraulic Modular Platform Trailers Inter-Modal - Barges (Sea)/Ship Route surveysB) Inbound Logistics:- Local transportation by Truck/Mechanical trailers Car, Cranes & Courier requirements & Octroi Clearance
