Amazon has three segments Fulfillment centers , sortation centers , delivery centers - particularly looking out the Delivery centers design and construction & Automation. Though I am engaged too in the sortation centers & Fulfillment Centers taking care of MEP Part. O daily basis coordination with the PMC teams and preparing the Site progress reports on daily basis and ascertaining the same with senior management. Key Responsibilities * Selection of space with Real estate team with Viz A viz checking out the Technical credential possibilities * Designing and execution of overall project.( Comprising of CIVILSTRUCTURES / PEB STRUCTURES / MEP) * Execution of the delivery centers and Sortation centers - recent delivery station 36,000 sqft at Noida sec 68. Recent sortation centers Ludhiana - 40,000 sqft. with automated belt conveyors, HVLS fans, Installation of all the utilities etc. * Pre-Acquisition assessment of various projects and overseeing the site acquisition activities. * Build capability of Architects, Civil, Electrical and HVAC professionals (inhouse and outsourced) to streamline the process of Centers design & construction. * On time PO / PR for the on time delivery of the 4m stuff. * Helping facilities team on daily basis in resolving the problems issues related to construction. Accomplishments * Completed the targeted opening of the delivery centers with in stipulated time frame and achieved the savings by 10% than prior designs * Changes in design specially in MEP leading to savings in expenditures occurred than previous openings.
