Geotechnical Engineer
Current• Accountable for executing project scope and completion with accurate data acquisition and troubleshooting. • Specialize in-situ testing including Down Hole Seismic, Gamma, Ball CPTu (Cone Penetrometer testing), Fluid Sampling and Instrumentation installs coupled with Sonic Drilling/Coring. • Hyper Spectral Imaging (HSI) analysis on core samples of interest in-situ.• Competent in the operations of Portable, Tracked rigs outfitted with specialized instrumentation and equipment for CPT and drilling.• Ensure CPT probe strain gauges are accurate, functional, tool conforms to ASTM standards.• Maintain the highest levels of safety and professionalism while performing work w.r.t data acquisition, client relations and site logistics.• Competent in mixed geotechnical drilling coupled with highly specialized instrumentation.• Ensure that ConeTec's safety values meet and exceed industry standards and that SOP's and JSA's are understood and applied.
