About Vikrant Minhas
The world would not function without bacteria. I am fascinated with how these remarkable microbes interact with host organisms and the impacts these interactions have on the world we live in. I currently research the mechanisms underlying bacterial pathogenesis in human tissues and bacterial symbiosis in plant roots. As a co-founder of the space-biotech company ResearchSat, I was able to help guide the company to launch scientific experiments into space to examine how bacteria and fungi behave in microgravity. Spurred by a passion for scientific exploration and innovation, I aim to further drive impactful advancements at the intersection of science and industry.
