CurrentHead of “deck” department – lead a team of approx. 15 crew members, supervision of the deck team, Officer of the watch .Organization and supervision of the cargo operations: preparation of stowage plan, loading / unloading plan and lashing plan. Calculate stress and stability parameters. Planning, organization and supervision of the deck equipment maintenance: hydraulic systems, winches, cranes, rigging and lashing equipment, surface treatment. Responsible for implementing occupational safety & health policies of the workers. Designated Ship Safety Officer - Ensuring safety of workers & work environment. Carrying out Risk Assessment for various shipboard operations. Implementing safety, occupational health and hygiene policies. Carrying out safety inspections and audits. Responsible for waste management & environment protection programs. Designated Ship Training Officer involving training of crew members and safety and security drill supervision. Designated Ship Security Officer. Designated Leader of Emergency Team. Preparation and coordination of dry-docking, regarding hull, cargo and safety systems.
