Working for decathlon was one best experiences I've had. My purpose or goal was inspired by the company's aim that was "making sports accessible to the many". As an Omni leader for the store my responsibilities to achieve these objectives or goals were as follows-- Come up with strategies to grow our users using organic or paid tools on Facebook and google- Run advertising campaigns online and offline to promote the store -Take feedbacks and respond to queries received from our customers/users and give them solutions- Strategies to promote the online business of the store. -During my role as an Omni leader, we ran many ad campaigns for the store with the help of our teammates to promote an event that was conducted in-store. And to grow our organic reach, we ran communities for different sports that way our job did not end with just selling but also helping out users to practise their sport and thus keeping with the objective of "making sports accessible to the many'' and even our tag line "sport for all and all for sport". We had 50+ active members who were part of the community and practised the sport regularly. -Also, with the help of some of my strategies, our online business grew from 1% share to 2.3% share of the total store turnover.

As a sports leader for the Running, Skating and the walking department, we had various responsibilities apart from selling the products. These responsibilities helped me shape my entrepreneurial goals. Some of my duties as a sports leader for this department were - Make sure we had ample stock available for our users especially during the peak season - Conduct regular inventories and make sure the shrinkage rate was less than .3% which was our goal, and I made sure I achieved them.- Choose the product range for the department based on the performance of our previous products and also based on current trends to make sure our objective of 1% growth was achieved. and both the years we achieved our goal of 1% growth-Make quarterly profit and loss reports and work on cutting down the costs for the department. -Also conduct regular sporting events to promote the brand and the sport.
