CurrentThe Legislative Data Center (LDC), is one of the two branches of the Office of Legislative Counsel, is a customer service organization, delivers Information technology solutions to the California State Legislature.Senior Information Technologist IIILed multiple enterprise and web applications projects to implement software solutions for California Legislature. ACHIEVEMENT HIGHLIGHTS:● Proposed and Implemented open source web content management for Internet and Intranet sites, to executives, domain experts, peers and customers to explain the benefit of using Drupal as content management solution.● Spearheaded and coordinated re-architecture of legacy CMS replacement Coordinated work of various domain teams to configure Infrastructure, Proxy, Apache Web servers, Drupal, MySQL Databases, Networking, LDAP, Kerberos and DNS ● Liaised between client, management, development and administrators teams, and third-party vendors Followed internal governance change request process, notified domain stakeholders about the change, ensured enterprise standards, and security best practices● Facilitated teams to become agile and more productive, co-authored the Software Development Approach (SDA) for developing the most powerful tools used by the California Legislature, developed frameworks, prototypes, infrastructure templates, implemented DevOps, development and releases methodologies, built trust to gain consensus and established rapid development and deployment processes for various teams. The approach created thriving teams and quality products in LDC.● Led the variety of new technology implementation efforts, few examples are, Web 2.0 & Mashups; Drupal multi-sites architecture with GSA, SSL, SSO, SAML, Analytics, GitLab POC, Web Services Interoperability, Bulk emailing, California Voter Registration, Precinct Management, Member Websites, POC on JMS High Availability Coached and mentored team members on tools, processes, and industry best practices .
