My primary role is to ensure optimal operations and growth of all the QCH's Databases. My duties range from providing expert advice on all matters relating to Databases and its security, maintaining efficient operations of our data infrastructure and facilitating + servicing changes/requests/incidents. And then there is the value-added component to my duties, I have wide ranging set of skills that I bring to my everyday and due to that, when I am called upon, I am priviledged and humbled to act as fill-in Rhapsody Integrations team lead, Operations Support Expert, Cyber Security Support & Risk Governance consultant, Data & DevOps Engineer and a developer when needed. My expertise with Microsoft SQL Servers and complex AlwaysOn HADR clusters have been recognised on multiple occasions by QCH leaders too and I am also a proud recipient of a few written commedations from the Direcors and CDOs/CIOs. My skills in the Cyber Security domain have helped in protecting QCH and the wider QH staff from a mass identity theft campaign during COVID. I am also the SME for Azure DevOps, PowerBI, SSRS and Master Data Services forming the key data-pipelines that I have laid the foundations for by starting the initial conversations with the respective teams. I have always championed for streamlining processes and have played a vital role in spearheading the QCH's DevOps journey, tansitioning from the old TFS days to todays DevOps standards. I stand by my work each day at QCH knowing that all the vital Data Driven endpoints that form the bedrock of QCH's everyday decision making are passing through the pipelines I help lay.
