I had the pleasure of working with the original and first staff of the Thinkery Children's Museum during the grand opening. The museum was in a constant state of flux and operated parallel to the innovative companies opening up in Austin, Texas. I worked in admissions, galleries, special events & programs, and as a tour guide. I facilitated ginger-bread workshops, birthday programs, and guided the public through the museum. I enjoyed assisting and meeting guests from all over the world. We taught families how to experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math with their children. I enjoyed engaging our guests in what we called the STEAM principals of the museum.
