I am a journalist and broadcast executive having worked at senior levels within the broadcasting industry for over 25 years. I have extensive leadership and management experience, across TV, radio and digital. Excellent communication skills in team management and leadership. I am a highly respected figure, confident speaker, presenter and commentator within the broadcast industry.Currently delivering policy and future strategy, for the UK's media sector and Ofcom's first chief of Diversity and Inclusion for the UK broadcast industry. This outward-facing, ambassadorial role includes delivering collaborative thinking and working, keynote speaking and policy leadership across the UK and abroad. I bring my natural drive and energy to my work, from my journalistic and editorial experience in managing fast-paced international newsrooms, to programme commissioning and successfully launching a brand new TV channel in just 11 months. This diverse and wide-ranging background equips me with an inexhaustible ability for problem-solving, thought agility and an empowering and inspiring management style. I am an active News jury member and chair for RTS and a member of BAFTA. I mentor and work with a lot of new and emerging talent, as I want to encourage much more diversity, both on and off screen.
