Lighthouse Trainee employed by four different companies during 15 months. The program includes working for Stena Teknik, TTS Marine, DNV GL and Caterpillar Propulsion followed by 3 months in South Korea working one month each for Stena Teknik, TTS Marine and DNV GL.About the program:"Together the participating companies is offering the trainees a structured programme where they will rotate in three months periods at different hosts in order to maintain as broad experience and network as possible after completeness. The host companies gets to work with the trainee and at the same time participate in building the competence the whole industry needed to take the Swedish maritime industry to the next level."Activities:Stena Teknik - Energy efficiency. Ship performance. Newbuilding projects.TTS Marine - Structural analysis. 3D modeling. Cargo logistics study on RoPax ferries. Cargo flow simulations.DNV GL - Annual, intermediate and renewal surveys of various kinds of ships. Certification of material and components. Involved in Maritime Advisory projects regarding energy efficiency.Caterpillar Propulsion - Propeller blade design, propulsion system performance, ice strength of blade and hub, propulsion concept development, class documentation and calculations.South Korea - Steel/outfitting/paint/electrical inspections, commissioning and construction management from owner, supplier and class perspective at Samsung HI and Hyundai Samoh HI.

"Impact loads on self-elevating units during jacking operation"- Master Thesis conducted at Statoils Research center in Trondheim. See link below. Thesis was also rewritten and published as a conference article during OMAE2015.

After two summers as an intern I took a sabbatical year working as a supervisor on an infrastructure construction site. I later continued working parallel with my studies on the project but with administrative and economical issues.

In parallel with my education I worked with construction logistics at Bygglogistik, partly as a supervisor.
