My research contributes to integral development using the X-in-the-loop methodology. A heterogeneous engineering platform of distributed simulation tools, test rigs and test benches has emerged that combines the virtual and physical worlds. This enables a more flexible, efficient and continuous development of autonomous vehicles. This task is very complex and requires a systemic approach to ensure that the interaction of software, hardware and vehicle dynamics works smoothly and fail safe.In the future, I would like to devote more time to the challenges of highly automated driving in order to make it safer, more energy-efficient and more comfortable.
