About Viktor Stråhlen

Certified SCRUM master and SAFE Agilist with a total agile mindset and a fascination for what embedded software can accomplish!I am convinced that automation is going to become crucial as we move into an era of autonomous drive and complex software that needs to work everytime, all the time. My specialty is test automation and test simulation in vehicle applications, more specifically towards hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and embedded systems within IOT. From 2015 until 2020 I have been working with CEVT and watched an incredible journey take place as the company grew to what it is today. I was given the great responsibility as a test leader for a large part of the vehicle systems and gained good knowledge of simulation riggs and their usability in vehicle testing.During the beginning of 2020 I was given the opportunity to join a highly skilled team at V.A.S (Volvo Autonomous Solutions, GTT) as a product owner. The team was responsible for the construction and maintenance of the hardware simulation equipment (HIL) and early development of test automation for the autonomous mine project in Brönnöy. Using my knowledge from previous assignments to prioritise and develop, when Corona hit, we had accomplished three functional test riggs, a test automation framework and a large number of automated testcases as well as path following simulation for an autonomous truck. I my spare time I love to hop on my triumph motorcycle for a ride, go out to sea with my sail yacht or tinker with an idea or project, my last being a remote surveillance solution for my sail yacht and an automated hydroponics plant system.
