In the last year of my University studies I performed a summer practice at the Danube Refinery of the MOL Group. I had the opportunity to observe the production and inner structure of a modern global corporation. The program of the practice contained more site visits on other facilities of the MOL Group in Hungary, for example other refinery and natural gas processing plant.As a task I received to create the Aspen Plus stationary model of an operating gas processing unit, which produced gas fractions. I made myself the necessary data collections for this task from the database of the Danube Refinery. The aim of the task was the analyzing of the gas processing unit by economy aspects.
