I am a board certified neurosurgeon. During the university I spent some time abroad in Buffalo (USA), in Heidelberg (Germany) and also in Oslo during the university as a foreign student and graduated in 2004. I am specialized in spine surgery and my main filed of interest is the application of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) techniques. I started to use MIS stabilization techniques in 2013 and I am one of those who introduced these techniques (MIS fracture stabilization and lumbar fusion) in my country. I have experience in the treatment of trauma, tumor, degenerative and spondylodiscitis cases. I am able to perform surgery from the cranio-cervical junction till the lumbo-pelvic junction. I can perform all the posterior approaches for all spinal levels and certainly I can reach the cervical spine from anterior, the thoracic spine from lateral (transthoracic), the lumbar spine from lateral, from oblique and from anterior exposure. I know all the nowadays used fusion techniques and I can handle corpectomies as well. Certainly I have experience in intracranial surgery as well, though much less than in spine surgery. I routinely can solve skull trauma cases and have experience with intracerebral hemorrhages, tumors and abscesses.
