As a project consultant, my main tasks mostly consisted of assisting a project manager with relevant tasks such as tendering, coordination of engineers, communication with contractors, building and zoning permit acquiring for road structures, residential building as well as office building projects. Additionally I helped to develop a new city district by preparing various documentation in AutoCAD. Developing a new city district creates a large amount of work necessary to be done before one can achieve the desired outcome. Building infrastructure, utilities, parks as well as home for future inhabitants are things I helped to manage. Lastly, since Penta Investments s.r.o. is the leading real estate developer on the slovakian market I was able to learn from the best people in the business which I consider a biggest asset regarding my personal development.

During my master study in Denmark I took the opportunity to work in the Fire Safety Laboratory in Technical University of Denmark. I worked there as a Student Helper - a student who used the spare time between the classes to come to the lab and be do what had to be done at that particular time. My main responsibilities however were: overall maintenance of the laboratory, preparation of various experiments, testing of energy content of materials, CAD documentation of the facility, testing the behavior of intumescent coatings on steel samples as well as assisting during several events in the laboratory.Apart from the fact that I learned much about fire safety in buildings I got familiar with the working environment and learned to be more responsible and reliable person. I understood the concept of collaboration and that only when working together we can reach further.Below attached is a recommendation letter written by my teacher and employer Grunde Jomaas.

Minnesota

I spent my summer in Minesota, USA where I worked in the aforementioned amusement park. Firstly I worked on the various rides as a ride operator. I had an opportunity to communicate on daily basis with people of different cultures which game me a huge insight on the cultural diversity. Secondly, I worked as a lifeguard in the water park section. I completed a demanding life guard training programmme and during the duty I learned how to act as a responsible guard on which the parents could rely on when their kids played in the water or used the water rides.This abroad experience was a huge "eye opener" for me and my near-future life decisions.
