Center for Social Vision launched as a platform at the end of 2021 with the long-term goal of becoming a place for the exchange of experiences, policies and action coming from the arts and focused on the community.Since then, we have been bringing together art practices that are exploratory and inclusive, that leave the gallery and seek the conversation; who want to create our much-needed social infrastructure.Since the beginning, we have brought together professionals from different fields in the endeavor to contribute to more connectedness, care and attitude through art. The main focus is the "social", defined by new technologies and communication networks, but also the different subjectivities that make up the environment we live in.Through an active position in public debates, the Center for Social Vision seeks to contribute to more initiative and networking, where art is not only a hanging object or a market product, but an active participant in the negotiation of the world in which we live.

SOCIAL VISION JOURNAL is a new media and platform founded in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2022. Of key interest to us is the question of how art and related fields participate in the creation of social relations and contribute to more sustainable communities. The primary goal is for the Journal to become a resource for rethinking the social, fostering deeper conversation and a better environment for research and action.The Journal is also the medium of the Center for Social Vision, from whose initial energy and experience it grew. It launched at the end of 2021 as a spin-off of Swimming Pool with the long-term goal of creating a field for the exchange of experiences, independent policies and actions originating from the field of art and related to spaces, infrastructure, resources and relationships we create and share.

Sofia Art Map is a project driven by the desire to support and share an imaginative, diverse and energetic cultural scene in Sofia. It was launched by the independent space Swimming Pool with the aim of supporting and strengthening collaborations and collegiality in the field of arts.

Swimming Pool is a space for contemporary art and research with a focus on interdisciplinary practices and collaborations, art education and cultural/institutional policies. Since 2015, Swimming Pool has been running a year-round program in its central city rooftop space with an empty outdoor pool from the 1930s.We present exhibitions, performances, publications and various projects to raise awareness and encourage invention, both locally and as part of an international community. Our activity includes collaborations with similar independent organizations as well as with larger public institutions, e.g. with Art in General - New York, David Dale Gallery - Glasgow, Jindřich Chalupecký Society - Prague, EMMA - Madrid, Futura - Prague, Alma Mater Gallery of Sofia University and National Library.Another important aspect is the exchange with art academies, such as the National Art Academy in Sofia, Kunsthochschule Mainz, Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam, the "Master of Voice" program of the Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam, the Pure Fiction Class of the Staedelschule, Frankfurt, Slaught at the University of Pennsylvania , Philadelphia.Over the years at Swimming Pool we have also started to experiment with more structured approaches in the field of non-institutional education: In 2018 and 2019 we organized a curatorial program on goals, policies and futures of micro-organizations.

The Blue Cube Foundation was founded in 2015 by Viktoria Draganova initially with the mission of supporting the activities of Swimming Pool , a space for contemporary art. Gradually, the foundation's activities are developing towards other projects, platforms and initiatives promoting art, curatorial and artistic research, working with communities and new cultural policies. Such are the map of independent spaces Sofia Art Map or the interdisciplinary platform for art and community practices Center for Social Vision .
